Basketball Recap: Crane Takes a Loss

Crane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-42 heartbreaker at the hands of Compass Academy. The Cranes were not able to make up for their defeat to Compass Academy from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Crane's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Compass Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9.

Crane has already played their next match (against Lamesa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Compass Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Stanton at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Compass Academy is facing Stanton at the right time seeing as Stanton is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
