Volleyball Recap: L.W. Higgins Comes Up Short

L.W. Higgins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Young Audiences Yacs. If the Hurricanes were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Yacs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

L.W. Higgins' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Young Audiences, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, L.W. Higgins and Young Audiences will both be playing A.J. Ellender the next time they take the court. The Yacs will host the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Hurricanes will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
