Scotch Plains-Fanwood came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Delaware Valley Terriers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Delaware Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Coming up, Scotch Plains-Fanwood is taking a road trip to square off against Governor Livingston at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
