Basketball Recap: Capitol Comes Up Short

Capitol was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 55-37 bruising from the Jennings Bulldogs. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Capitol's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Jennings, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.

Capitol didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-52 loss against St. Helena College and Career Academy on the 17th. As for Jennings, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-52 defeat against Sam Houston on the 17th.
