Basketball Game Preview: King & Queen Central Royal Tigers vs. Middlesex Chargers

King & Queen Central is 1-9 against Middlesex since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The King & Queen Central Royal Tigers will square off against the Middlesex Chargers at 7:45 p.m. King & Queen Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.5 points per game this season.

King & Queen Central is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-49 heartbreaker at the hands of West Point.

Despite the loss, King & Queen Central got top-tier performance from Gerard Hill, who posted 25 points.

Meanwhile, Middlesex earned a 60-49 win over Carver College and Career Academy on Tuesday.

King & Queen Central now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Middlesex, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

King & Queen Central ended up a good deal behind Middlesex when the teams last played back in December of 2024, losing 53-37. Can King & Queen Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
