Volleyball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ross Rams, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-10.

Caroline Rude paced Monroe's offense, picking up four kills. Rude got some help from Sierra Stacy and her five assists. Rude was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Ross, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Monroe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Franklin on the 18th. As for Ross, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Bellbrook on the 18th.
