Volleyball Recap: Mt. Zion Braves vs. Rantoul Eagles
On Tuesday, the Mt. Zion Braves beat the Rantoul Eagles 2-0.
Mt. Zion never let Rantoul on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-3.
Mt. Zion can attribute much of their success to Ty Ball, who had three aces and 16 assists. That's the most aces Ball has posted in her last nine matchups.
Mt. Zion has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 18-16 record this season. As for Rantoul, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-20 record this season.
Mt. Zion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Normal University on the 31st. Rantoul does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
