Georgetown Visitation Prep came up short against Cape Henry Collegiate last Tuesday, falling 11-5.

Georgetown Visitation Prep saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Fallon, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Lucie Touomou was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Even though they lost, Georgetown Visitation Prep hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cape Henry Collegiate struck out nine times.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jackson-Reed). They were the clear victors by a 21-10 margin over Roosevelt on Tuesday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Roughriders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jackson-Reed got a massive performance out of Alex Nehrer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four stolen bases, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Grace Harscheid, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-3.

Georgetown Visitation Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jackson-Reed, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Everything went Georgetown Visitation Prep's way against Jackson-Reed in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Georgetown Visitation Prep made off with a 16-8 victory.
