The Sierra Stallions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sand Creek Scorpions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sierra will be strutting in after a win while the Scorpions will be coming in after a loss.
Even though Sierra has not done well against the Falcons recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Sierra came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 60-52.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought game, but Sand Creek had to settle for a 45-42 loss against the Panthers on Saturday. Sand Creek has not had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Sierra pushed their record up to 13-6 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Sand Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
Sierra strolled past the Scorpions in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 73-58. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Sand Creek's Josh Kotto, who scored 25 points along with three steals. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Sierra still be able to contain Kotto? There's only one way to find out.
