Volleyball Recap: McLoughlin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

McLoughlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Burns Hilanders, falling 3-0. The Pioneers were not able to make up for their loss to the Hilanders from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-17, 25-6.

Burns can attribute much of their success to Bailey Temple, who had 11 digs and two aces. Natalee Otley-Smith also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

McLoughlin now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Burns, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-1.

Coming up, McLoughlin will challenge Umatilla at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burns, they will face off against Grant Union at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
