Baseball Recap: Regis Comes Up Short

Regis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monsignor Farrell Lions. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Aidan Cha made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Evan Rosado, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple and one run.

Regis' loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Monsignor Farrell, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Regis will face off against Moore Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Monsignor Farrell, they will challenge St. Peter's at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
