Connor Blackwell posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February of 2024.
