Baseball Recap: Foreman Comes Up Short

The Foreman Gator Arkansas came up short against the Columbia Christian Crusaders on Monday, falling 11-1.

Foreman saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kolt Chaviers, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Foreman's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Columbia Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Foreman is taking a road trip to challenge Junction City at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbia Christian, they will head out to take on Mineral Springs at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Crusaders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
