Soccer Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Frontier Titans by a score of 1-0. It was the first time this season that the Golden Hawks let down their fans at home.

Centennial is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9-2. As for Frontier, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3-1 and their overall record up to 6-8-5.

Centennial has already played their next contest (against Garces Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Frontier will host Stockdale at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Frontier's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
