Pittsburg came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Columbus Titans. That's more bragging rights for the Dragons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pittsburg took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pittsburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Erika Maxwell, who had six digs and four aces.

Maxwell wasn't the only good servers: Pittsburg was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive matches.

Pittsburg's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Columbus, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20-2.
