Football Recap: Life Oak Cliff Piles Up the Points Against All Saints Episcopal

After only 12 points in their last contest, Life Oak Cliff made sure to put some points up on the board against All Saints Episcopal on Thursday. The Lions took their matchup with ease, bagging a 71-27 victory over the Trojans.

Camren Phillips was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 361 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 15.7 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 107 yards and three TDs on only 12 carries. What's more, he racked up 151.7 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August of 2024. Tj Gort also helped out as he racked up 109 receiving yards.

Despite the loss, All Saints Episcopal still got an impressive performance from Manny Mizer, who threw for 100 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 60 yards on only eight carries. Mizer got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 55 yards. Sawyer Buske got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Life Oak Cliff now has a winning record of 2-1. As for All Saints Episcopal, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.
