Soccer Recap: Rising Sun Comes Up Short

Rising Sun was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Oldenburg Academy Twisters. Rising Sun were not able to make up for their defeat to Oldenburg Academy from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Rising Sun's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Oldenburg Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-0-1.

Rising Sun didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against South Dearborn on the 24th. As for Oldenburg Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Greenfield-Central on the 27th.
