Wadsworth proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs 2-1. The win was nothing new for Wadsworth as they're now sitting on three straight.

Justin Lazzaretti was the driving force of Wadsworth's attack as he scored both of Wadsworth's goals, bringing his season total up to 19 goals.

Wadsworth's victory bumped their record up to 7-3-4. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-7-3.

Wadsworth and Stow-Munroe Falls should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Grizzlies (ranked 67th) will meet Garfield (ranked 494th) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Stow-Munroe Falls will square off against Cuyahoga Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (136 vs. 378).
