Basketball Game Preview: Powdersville Patriots vs. Keenan Raiders

The Powdersville Patriots will square off against the Keenan Raiders at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Powdersville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 20 games.

Powdersville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They escaped with a win against Christ Church Episcopal by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Keenan came tearing into Friday's match with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged out the Lions 42-39. The 42-point effort marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Keenan's win came from a few key players Powdersville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Antoine Caughman Jr, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 17 points and six rebounds.
