Preview: Northwestern Wildcats vs. DuVal Tigers

Northwestern has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will challenge the DuVal Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Northwestern will be strutting in after a victory while DuVal will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Thursday, everything went Northwestern's way against Bell as Northwestern made off with a 32-8 victory.

Amelle Passee was the offensive standout of the match as she dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Northwestern's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Doughty, who scored 8 points.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-32, which was the final score in DuVal's tilt against Springdale Prep on Saturday.

Northwestern's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for DuVal, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Northwestern was dealt a bruising 62-31 loss at the hands of DuVal in their previous matchup back in January. Thankfully for Northwestern, Ariana Phillips (who scored 38 points along with 9 steals and 5 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
