Baseball Recap: Kaiser Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kaiser strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Cajon Cowboys. That's more bragging rights for the Cats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kaiser got a great performance from Zeke Isaak Cortez as he struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts Cortez has posted since back in April of 2025.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Tino Isaiah Cuellar, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Kaiser hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cajon struck out 11 times.

Kaiser's record is now 3-0. As for Cajon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kaiser will head out to face off against King at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for Cajon, they will be taking part in a tournament against Upland at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
