Christian Lacombe made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero). He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Parsons Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-0-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Parsons Christian Academy let Brayden Comer and Jeffrey Hartley run wild. Comer scored three runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Hartley scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Ennis, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-4.
Parsons Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .778. They are undefeated (3-0) when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Cedar Creek Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Parsons Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Cedar Creek Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Parsons Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 11.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
