With a playoff win on the line, Frankfort rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Keyser Golden Tornado by a score of 6-1. The Falcons' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Rylee Mangold made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Mangold was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run.
In other batting news, Avery Noel was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Adison Pritts was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
Frankfort lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Keyser didn't launched any home runs.
Frankfort pushed their record up to 25-0 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Keyser, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-9.
As of now, neither Frankfort nor the Golden Tornado have any future games scheduled.
