Baseball Recap: Chen Comes Up Short

Chen lost against Glenelg Country two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Chen came up short against Glenelg Country, falling 16-6. The loss leaves the Chargers still looking for their first win of the season.

Matthew Buba was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4. Liam Conroy also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Even though they lost, Chen always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Chen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Glenelg Country, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4.

Coming up, Chen will square off against Sandy Spring Friends at 4:00 p.m. on April 3. As for Glenelg Country, they will take on St. Paul's at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
