Recap: New Life Academy Bobcats vs. Bethel Christian
The New Life Academy Bobcats waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Bethel Christian by a score of 61-54. That result was just more of the same for these two, as New Life Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January.
New Life Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan Dunn led the charge by scoring 21 points. Dunn has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Dontrel Lee, who scored 14 points.
New Life Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Bethel Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.
New Life Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bethel Christian, they will be playing at home against Rock Church at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
