Henry County waltzed into their match on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They managed a 65-61 win over the Huntingdon Mustangs. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Mustangs are ranked 222nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Henry County's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Huntingdon, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Henry County will face off against West Creek at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Henry County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 games -- so hopefully West Creek likes a good challenge. As for Huntingdon, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-68 win against Peabody on the 14th.
