League recap: Orchard Farm tops Winfield to extend winning streak

Orchard Farm extended the longest winning streak in Gateway - North this week by beating Winfield, 40-6. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Eagles.

Orchard Farm moved up to 144 from 218 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Phil Kendall's team climbed the ranks as a result of a 40-6 win over the Warriors.

Winfield's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dustin Kneemiller has thrown for 184 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Aaron Aubuchon has seven catches for 123 yards. Jerel Hall leads the league in rushing with 441 yards.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when St. Charles West takes on the Eagles. The Warriors have allowed 76 points this season, while Orchard Farm has given up 13.

St. Charles took down Confluence Prep Academy 41-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
