The Whale Branch Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 58-20 victory over Bridges Prep at home. The victory was nothing new for Whale Branch as they're now sitting on three straight.

Whale Branch found their leader in underclassman Zaria Coaxum, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Coaxum is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Larmore Pryor was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six steals and five rebounds.

Whale Branch's victory bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Bridges Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.

Whale Branch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bridges Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Branchville at 6:30 p.m. on February 8th. Branchville is coming into the match with six straight losses on the road, meaning Bridges Prep will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
