With a playoff win on the line, Monroeville rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jackson-Milton Bluejays. The Eagles are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 21 straight.

Monroeville not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Jackson-Milton between 15 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-16.

Addison Homan was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 31 digs and four assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more digs the last 28 times she's played.

Monroeville's record now sits at 23-2. As for Jackson-Milton, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-14.
