Soccer Recap: Magee Drops Season-High Score on Quitman

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Magee). Everything went their way against the Quitman Panthers on Thursday as the Magee Trojans made off with a 7-0 win. It was an even better day for Gervin Garcia as he scored three goals for his team.

Magee now has a winning record of 5-4-2. As for Quitman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Magee and Raymond will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Quitman, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Enterprise at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
