Basketball Game Preview: Middletown Christian Eagles vs. Dayton Christian WARRIORS

Middletown Christian is 0-10 against Dayton Christian since February of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Middletown Christian Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Dayton Christian WARRIORS at 7:30 p.m. Middletown Christian will be strutting in after a win while Dayton Christian will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Middletown Christian turned things around against Cincinnati Christian on Tuesday. They snuck past the Cougars with a 57-52 victory.

Meanwhile, Dayton Christian came up short against Archbishop Alter on Tuesday and fell 58-46. While losing is never fun, the WARRIORS can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Knights are ranked 54th).

Middletown Christian's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13. As for Dayton Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4.

Middletown Christian might still be hurting after the 61-35 defeat they got from Dayton Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Middletown Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
