Baseball Recap: Twelve Bridges Takes a Loss

Twelve Bridges fell victim to Placer and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Hillmen, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hillmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-4 last Monday.

Twelve Bridges saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Whitesides, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Twelve Bridges and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Placer, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

While Twelve Bridges had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
