They were the victim of a tough 102-81 loss at the hands of the Golden Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (70), Lemoore still had to take the loss.
When it comes to explaining why Lemoore lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kaden Lopes. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 13 from beyond the arc en route to 35 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lopes has scored all season. Andrew Mora was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Lemoore's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-10. As for Clovis West, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-5.
Lemoore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clovis West, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome San Joaquin Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on February 15th. San Joaquin Memorial is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
