Volleyball Game Preview: Sunnyside Grizzlies vs. Selah Vikings

The Sunnyside Grizzlies will head out on the road to face off against the Selah Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Sunnyside lost 3-0 to Wenatchee on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Selah faced Chelan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Vikings came up short against the Mountain Goats, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since November 9, 2024.

Sunnyside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Selah, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2.

Sunnyside suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Selah in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Grizzlies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
