Volleyball Recap: Benton Takes a Loss

Benton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Pius X Warriors. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 22-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Benton's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for St. Pius X, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Benton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Chillicothe on the 22nd. As for St. Pius X, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 tie against Platte County on the 20th.
