Volleyball Recap: Glenelg's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Glenelg had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mt. Hebron Vikings. That's more bragging rights for the Gladiators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Glenelg walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-9.

Avery Hubbard paced Glenelg's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hubbard got some help from Jessica Li and her 23 assists. Li was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Glenelg's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Mt. Hebron, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Glenelg will challenge Oakland Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mt. Hebron, they will take on Guilford Park at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
