Baseball Recap: Attica Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Attica waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 15-10 win over the Fountain Central Mustangs. This was a revenge game for the Red Ramblers: when they faced off against the Mustangs last Thursday, they had to take a 7-5 loss.

Bradon Terry made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has become a key player for Attica: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8 otherwise. Terry was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Attica was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .367 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Attica's record now sits at 10-8. As for Fountain Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Attica will be playing in front of their home fans against Cissna Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fountain Central, they are taking a road trip to take on Benton Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
