Softball Recap: Tocoi Creek Wins Going Away Against Bradford

Tocoi Creek's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Bradford Tornadoes with a sharp 11-3 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Toros needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Ryleigh Williams made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Williams was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Makenna Miller was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
