Puckett strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Raleigh Lions as they made off with an 18-5 win. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by seven runs or more this season.
Raegan Hardin made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Hardin was even better at the plate, going 3-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game.
In other batting news, Brooke Shivers was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four RBI and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Brown, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Puckett always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Raleigh only posted an OBP of .360.
Puckett's record is now 11-0. As for Raleigh, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Puckett will venture away from home to face off against Florence at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Raleigh, they will host Magee at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season.
