Volleyball Recap: Mt. Olive Wildcats vs. South County Vipers
Mt. Olive lost against South County last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mt. Olive Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South County Vipers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22.
Mt. Olive's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for South County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Olive is on the road again on Tuesday to play East Alton-Wood River at 6:00 p.m. As for South County, they will take on Lincolnwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
