Baseball Recap: Cesar E. Chavez Comes Up Short

Cesar E. Chavez fell victim to Heights and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-0. The shutout was out of character for the Lobos seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Cesar E. Chavez's defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Heights, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

Looking ahead, Cesar E. Chavez will welcome Lamar at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heights, they are taking a road trip to take on Tomball Kings at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
