Basketball Recap: North Branford Comes Up Short

North Branford suffered their closest loss since January 24, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Morgan Huskies by a score of 51-49. The Thunderbirds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 60-50.

North Branford dropped their record down to 7-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Morgan, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Branford will head out to face off against Valley Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morgan, they will head out on the road to square off against Cromwell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
