Baseball Recap: Saline Drops Highest Score of Season Against Huron

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Saline). They blew past the Huron River Rats 14-2 on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win (which was Saline's third in a row) raised their record to 10-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Huron, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11-1.

Saline will have a chance to go back-to-back against the River Rats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
