Basketball Recap: Wheaton Gets the Win

Wheaton won the last time they faced Exeter and Brody Bateman did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bulldogs blew past the Tigers 79-58 on Tuesday thanks in part to Bateman, who almost dropped a double-double with 26 points and nine boards. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played.

Amos Thawngzathang was another key player, shooting 46% from the field on his way to 15 points and seven rebounds. Wheaton is undefeated when Thawngzathang posts 15 or more points, but 9-13 otherwise.

Wheaton's victory bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Exeter, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
