Football Game Preview: Darrington Loggers vs. Concrete Lions + How To Watch

The Darrington Loggers will venture away from home to take on the Concrete Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Darrington has six straight victories, Concrete has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Darrington blew past Quilcene, posting a 52-18 win. The result was nothing new for the Loggers, who have now won four contests by 26 points or more so far this season.

Hunter Anderson was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and one score. Chevy Vincent was another key player, gaining 122 total yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Darrington was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 284 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Concrete lost 48-24 to Muckleshoot Tribal on Friday.

Concrete's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Darrington, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Darrington beat Concrete 42-32 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Lions' Josiah Rider, who rushed for 185 yards and four TDs while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 61 yards and one touchdown.
