Preview: Cross Creek Razorbacks vs. Hephzibah Rebels

Cross Creek is 10-0 against Hephzibah since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Cross Creek Razorbacks will be playing at home against the Hephzibah Rebels at 6:00 p.m. Cross Creek is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.

Cross Creek posted their closest win since December 12, 2023 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Morgan County and snuck past 41-38.

Cross Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Micheala Bogans, who scored 12 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Bogans hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tierra Turner, who scored six points along with six steals.

Hephzibah suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 72-42 defeat at the hands of Academy of Richmond County. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Hephzibah has suffered against Academy of Richmond County since January 26, 2018.

Cross Creek's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. As for Hephzibah, they have fallen quite a ways from their 18-8 record last season and are now at 4-8.

Cross Creek strolled past Hephzibah when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 73-56. Does Cross Creek have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hephzibah turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
