Basketball Game Preview: Chestnut Ridge Lions vs. Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers

The Chestnut Ridge Lions will welcome the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Philipsburg-Osceola took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Chestnut Ridge, who comes in off a win.

Last Wednesday, Chestnut Ridge slipped by Central Cambria 70-69. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Meanwhile, Philipsburg-Osceola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by Central 75-44. The Mountaineers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-20.

Philipsburg-Osceola's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Chestnut Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
