Basketball Game Preview: White County Central Bears vs. Quitman Bulldogs

White County Central is 0-10 against Quitman since February of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The White County Central Bears are taking a road trip to square off against the Quitman Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

White County Central is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Tuesday. They lost 49-23 to St. Joseph.

Meanwhile, Quitman put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 53-26 victory over South Side. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Quitman pushed their record up to 19-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for White County Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.

White County Central was dealt a bruising 57-23 defeat at the hands of Quitman when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can White County Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
