Football Recap: Parkway Central Comes Up Short

Parkway Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by the Northwest Lions 62-9. The Colts were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-9.

Parkway Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Northwest, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Parkway Central will face off against McCluer North at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Colts will be up against the Stars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.88 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Northwest, they will be playing at home against Oakville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
