Basketball Recap: Gans Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McCurtain, Gans was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Leflore Savages by a score of 40-32. This was payback for the Grizzlies, who suffered a 62-19 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory got Gans back to even at 4-4. As for Leflore, they dropped their record down to 4-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Gans will venture away from home to challenge Cave Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Grizzlies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Leflore, they will be home for the holidays to greet McCurtain at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
